dan nailed a few planks of wood into one of the many trees on our hill so that the kids could have a hangout spot. i'm just hoping no ticks live in this tree because the kiddos seem to like it there...
maybe one day we'll build them a real treehouse.

i love that picture of the three of them. so cute! derek and i used to have trees with low limbs that we could climb on and hang out in, and that was always so much fun. i hope you guys do get to biuld a treehouse someday, that would be super fun!

i love your adorable little kiddos. i remember when i was little my dad nailed boards into this tree we liked to climb and we'd literally spend hours there. i'm sure this tree will have fond memories for them when they get older.
oh...and i LOVED the back-to-school photos you posted. you are so blessed to have such wonderfully sweet and beautiful children. and tyler.... he's becoming such a little man!
