two things i love...around my home

it's a little late in the day 
but better late than never

i'm in love with these roses from our backyard so i just had to incorporate them into the photos below

i'm a huge fan of tracy anderson
if you haven't heard of her, then please do yourself a favor and check out her website.
she helped me transform my body last year to the tiniest it has ever been and i felt so good...
but the last few months i stopped working out my normal two hours a day and the weight and flab started piling back on. so for mothers day dan bought me her newest dvds called the perfect design series. i've only done it for two days but i'm already in love with it and have lost three pounds in one day (i'm sure it was water weight from the salt and alcohol i consumed over the weekend) but still, i love seeing the scale go down.  but better than that - it kicked my butt and i feel good again and feel my body coming alive and working - i LOVE that feeling!

we haven't had too many people link up the last few times so i'm thinking of stopping the blog hop and may go back to just doing this on tuesdays when i feel like it...

your roses are so pretty, i don't blame you for wanting to show them off! i just picked some yesterday for my den, but they're kinda wilted already.

i've never heard of that workout series. is it cardio or dancing or what? i haven't felt motivated this last week to exercise and i hate it, because that cellulite isn't going to be nice and just disappear on its own..

OMG! i've been obsessing over traceys site all weekend! did you see gweneth paltrows write up on it on her little site that's slipping my mind...

anyway, i SO want those dvd's! 2 hours a day, how do you find the time??

i've missed you! i should have more time now. we should chat on skype sooooon.

danielle - i love fresh cut flowers from my own yard! yay! her dvd's are great. she has dance cardio but i do rebounding instead because i have two left feet although i do have one of her dance dvd's i have her mat workout and post pregnancy one from last year and they, along with her diet plan, helped me to shed twenty pounds in about six weeks last year. this is embarrassing, but i went from 134-112... i love her. i ended up maintaining at 115 for forever but just recently gained weight... as i told you in that email. anyway, you should try it - she's amazing and she really knows how to help the short girls get a long and lean body - she herself is only five feet tall. i just love her and what her method does for my body. try her out. check out her website!

jamie - try it! you will love it! promise! i do one hour of my tracy dvd's in the morning and then i do my cardio for an hour at night. it's worth it. i feel so much better when i'm in my workout routine.
i got your email about your new site - gonna check it out! yay!

oh gosh I have to get back on the 2 things I love. It was fun for a while and then I just sort of fell off the bandwagon. I'll make sure to link up again so please keep it going! And Tracy has intrigued me ever since I heard about her over a year ago. I remember Gwyneth Paltrow telling Oprah that she helped her get those legs of hers!

andrea - i've been doing her method for over a year and, really, what she can do for your body is amazing. it's a lot of work but so worth it! i used to do a lot of pilates and loved it... but never saw results like i've seen with tracy - i've had three kids and i looked and felt amazing... now only if i hadn't stopped working out consistently... but i'm sure her new series will get me in tip top form in no time!

Kassi - you definitely should keep up the two things every other week! Its such an awesome post and I love seeing everyone's things!!

I am totally jealous of your Tracey Anderson dvds. I have been interested in checking out her stuff for quite a while, but then last year I was training for my half so I never did. I think now is the time. Gotta get in pretty good shape before my big trip to Norway!

Your flowers are super pretty - so glad to see you are feeling better too!!

Kassi I LOVE 2 things. It makes me go around and really be proud of and appreciate things that I have!! I love it :) Can't wait to get home from work and find my 2!

I am needing a booty kick right now BAD. Getting married makes you gain lots of weight... boo. I'm playing volleyball tonight so that counts right!? May need to try those DVDs!!

and that dvd looks amazing-- esp if it worked for YOU (hello, hot body! ;) lol) and Gwenyth & Courtney Cox. ugh, i felt guilty cos it was raining today and it's my happy stay inside and veg weather so that's exactly what i did instead of hitting the gym. lol add in comfort food and yah... i need to see about these vids!

Kassi!!! I love two things tuesday...
I maybe late sometimes but I love having peek's into yours and others homes. It makes me go around my place on the hunt for something to be proud of and show and share so others can enjoy my joy!
I MUST try that workout video, I am in dire need to drop the last 10 lbs of baby weight.
