ahhhhhhhh question time!
What is your favorite color? If you could have one super power, what would it be? If you could do one thing over in life, what would it be? How long have you had your nose pierced?
favorite color... i don't really have one... i love so many different colors and my mind changes all the time... i am partial to primary colors when decorating my home though - reds, blues, yellows, etc...
i would love to be able to teleport myself... i would never have to fly in an airplane or drive a car... i could go anywhere i feel like, whenever i felt like it! how cool would that be?!
i wouldn't change a thing... everything in my life has happened for a reason and i'm a better person because of it!
i have had my nose pierced for a little over two years!
do you use any hair products? I have wavy hair as well, inbetween straight and curly, and i love your volume and bounce. do you go natural or use products?
i do. i use garnier fructis wonder waves spray, moroccan oil and sometimes osis dust it.
thanks for the compliment! it's hard to get my hair how i like it... every day it's different! i usually wash my hair (i rarely use conditioner and i never brush it), put in some moroccan oil, blow dry it with a diffuser and when it's almost dry i add in a bit of the spray. sometimes i like how it turns out, other times i don't. when i do go natural my hair is straight on top and curly underneath and looks super lame.
I LOVE your blog and your family is amazingly gorgeous.. what does your hubs do?
thank you and thank you! that is very sweet of you to say!
my husband, daniel, is an account executive sales rep for an IT company... he sells servers and other nerdy computer stuff. he used to be a sales rep for a surf company and would love to get back in that industry.
what frustrates you the most about blogging? and what advice would you give to other bloggers?
i think what frustrates me most is how addicting it can become. although i love blogging i hate how it takes up so much of my time (even though i mostly enjoy it) my husband and kids get annoyed with me for being on the computer so much. i like building relationships with my readers so i try to comment on each comment i receive and i like to check out or follow back most of the people who follow me.... it's just so time consuming and sometimes i can't make time for it... then i feel guilty - i hate feeling that guilt!
overall, family is more important.
my advice is just be yourself... don't get caught up in how many followers you get or how many comments you get... try to remember why you started the blog when you get frustrated.
another thing that frustrates me is the fact that i started my blog as my place to share my creations and i've been totally lacking lately... i just haven't had the time, unfortunately, to make pretty things. i want to get back to that place.
hmm, I have a question: how do you get your photos to upload in such cool formats, like polaroid or the old school rounded corners? I love that! Sincerely, your blog admirer, Shannel (Nelly)
shannel, i use picnik! try it out... it's fabulous and free! you will love it!
