i love receiving mail from friends
i mean, c'mon, who doesn't?
over the last few days i have received some pretty awesome stuff
and i thought i would share it all with you guys... because, really, half the fun of getting mail is sharing your excitement with others at what you received.
on saturday i got a lovely little package from the always funny and beautiful brandi
she made me an awesome mixed tape to work out to and i got one of her super fun and fabulous bueno bueno key necklaces... i told her to pick it out for me since i could not decide which one i wanted... she surprised me with the sun key being that i'm a california girl and all... how cute and sweet is she!
i love everything so much... thank you brandi!
then on monday... after getting the news about dan... i found a surprise package on my doorstep from one of the sweetest girls i've ever had the pleasure of knowing... the beautiful and charming danielle from dinosaur toes
i opened the package and to my surprise there were a bunch of beautiful fabrics with a sweet little note letting me know she sent me these fabrics so i could have some pretty material to use for my new sewing machine... under some fabric was hiding a gorgeous bracelet that she made just for me! how sweet is that! she totally made my day and pretty much brought me to tears.

and thank you to ALL of you who have left me the most encouraging, supportive and heart felt comments in regards to dan's health. i am amazed at the love i have felt from all of you!

waiting and anticipating news from the doctor is such a pain of a process.
these things can be really scary, especially when you don't know what's going on, or at least WHY.

that key necklace is lovely! i love unique jewelry and that falls under the category completely. there is nothing like getting a mixed cd- not knowing what the next song is; esp. if it's one that will get you in the mood to work out. how thoughtful :)
i've said it before and i'll prob. say it again- you and danielle are two kindred souls who i'm glad are so close. i can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous fabrics.

micaela - you're right. nothing better! the key necklace is fab and i wear it every day... i tend to do that when i get new stuff! brandi sells the key necklaces so you should contact her for one - they are so fun! and danielle is the best. i'm jealous you and she are neighbors! i can't wait to make something pretty with all the gorgeous fabric and i will be sure to post pics once i do!

dan has meetings all week until 10 or 10:30pm... so i don't know how he's feeling... pretty tired i'm sure. he's been waking up every morning with his head a 6-7 out of 10 for pain... poor guy.
