when i was little i always wanted to stay home from school.
i would keep my hand on my forehead for ten minutes or so to make it hot and then call my mom in my room to feel my head... she rarely used a thermometer so this method worked pretty well for me.
i stayed home a lot.
my moms rule was that we couldn't stay home unless we had a fever or were throwing up, we couldn't watch television (or very little tv), had to stay in our room and basically were not allowed to have any fun at all.
my kids are much different than me!
they love school and want to go even when they are sick... i really don't get it... but that's how they are
i made ty stay home today due to a fever and super stuffed up nose
he was not happy about it
i told him to rest up and not get too crazy with his sister
so he decided to let tay practice her make up applying skills on him
sweet boy that tyler

thanks tyler! he is pretty great ;-)
How cute are they? He looks like he is feeling better already. A day of R&R always helps.
they are cute... thanks ;-) he is feeling okay... i just made him stay home because he had a fever... and it's gone up since this morning. i think he has a sinus infection... but yes, R&R is always gooooood!
My kids like school too...they're crazy!!!!!
Do you think peeps come back and read the comments you leave...I wonder..I do.
Tell Tyler to suck it up..;-P
crazy kids - they sure didn't get that from us!
i have no clue if peeps come back and read the comments i write... i always do... and i'm glad you do!
haha i ALWAYS tried staying home! what's wrong with kids these days WANTING to go to school?? ;)
kids are crazy these days for wanting to go... or maybe teachers are more fun and kids are nicer?
Your pictures are too cute! Chris, my husband, has type 1 diabetes, so there have been a few occasions when his sugar has been really low and he let me do drag queen makeup! After a few Little Debbie cookies, he started to regret allowing me to paint him up!
i used to fake my way out of school too. my mom never took my temp either, so i'd just put my head under my covers and steam it all up with my breath 'til it was practically tropical.
glad your kids are crazy and like school :).
i still want to blog about the 2 things i love. maybe i'll do that for tomorrow.
love you friend!

ha! too funny! did he allow you girls to do that...or did you two gang up on him? i always wanted a little brother to "torture" in that way!
