Two Things i Love... Around my Home


i love this dresser. it was given to us when dan and i got married by his parents next door neighbors. i haven't done anything to it... i love it just as it is





i love love my red captains chair. bought it "as is" a few years ago from my favorite antique store in carpinteria, ca... not only is it super cute... it's also super comfy!

Hmmmm...I'm not really loving anything in my house..Ethan annd Emme's bunkbed is cute..I dunno..I want a new couch!

That was a great gift! When Ben and I got married we did some garden-clearing work for his uncle and were paid with a sofa and two chairs. They were stunningly ugly, although strangely they would look better by today's tastes than they did then! But we could sit on them, and that was the point...

So, two things I'm loving around our home at the moment are:

A blue canvas-covered stool with red crochet cover and blue patchwork cushions, which frequently features on my blog because it makes me so happy.

An autumn wreath I've just put on the front door, made with Old Man's Beard (do you know what that is - is it just a British name?)

floss, i love hand me down furniture... most of ours is... it's just so fun making it your own! i have heard of old man's beard but i'm not sure what it is... although i did see it on your blog!
